WAKRO, Sep 20: Never get discouraged by challenges in life and spread your inner joy all around even in adverse situations, said His Holiness Sri Sri Anubhavananda.
He was lauding the Apnes who braved extreme bad weather in conducting their annual day celebration successfully.
Appreciating the harmony of the KGBV and Apnes, the saint, who gave away the Apna Annual Academic Awards, said, “ASSET is grooming the children in right direction.”
To the delight of the Apnes, staff and the general public, Anu Swamiji blessed the AVB on a confident note assuring that the school will grow leaps and bounds and that he will ensure that the urgent infrastructural and other needs of the school are provided for.
Besides dedicating the 7th and 8th classrooms of the AVB, he laid the foundation for the Maiyya Shaanta girls’ hostel in presence of Col S B Mishra, CO 12 Assam, Savita Nagananda, and Patam Rangmang, ZPM Wakro.
The hostel will be built out of the assistance provided by Savita Nagananda of Mumbai. Savita who is inspired by saintly mother Maiyya Shaanta of Amravati, lauded the school and management for the good job done.
Col Mishra also appreciated the Apnes saying “I cannot motivate these young energetic Apnes as they are adequately a self motivated lot.” He gave away annual sports awards.
The ZPM, who gave away the annual athletic awards, said that the AVB students are getting quality education due to the dedicated services of the teachers and staff.
He further said that the assistance extended for construction of girls’ hostel will do wonders to the society as Wakro has a low female literacy rate.
The joyous Apnes presented a colourful cultural programme which was appreciated by the saint and audience.
Later, Swami Anubhavananda visited the Apne library and interacted with noted social worker Satyanarayanan Mundayoor while conveying his salutation and love to him for his ceaseless devotion to Arunachal Pradesh and commitment to the cause of selfless service.
