Scan1ITANAGAR, Jun 5: In a bid to create awareness among the masses about ill effects of drug abuse, the All Arunachal Pradesh Anti Drug Youth Organization (AAPADYO) today organized a massive anti-drug bike rally in the twin capital city of Itanagar and Naharlagun.

The rally was flagged off by AAPADYO president Togo Rebe in presence of Jalley Sonam, Chairman APB&OCWWB, Gumjum Haider, advisor NESO and Tagru Tame, vice president ANSU, among others.
The rally which started from Siddhartha Vihar Gompa, Itanagar first moved up to Nirjuli and then culminated at Itanagar later. Hundreds of bikers participated in the rally to support the cause, shouting slogans against the drug users, peddlers and producers.
Earlier, in his address, Gumjum Haider appealed every section of society to fight against the drug menace. Tagru Tame said drug as a virus is infecting the young generation and called upon the participants to spread awareness among the people to cure the ailment.
